Moanoghar has set up a technical and vocational school called Moanoghar Institute of Technology (MIT) which offers basic courses in different trades of vocational education in order to prepare students for the job market. These include sewing & dress-making, carpentry, food and beverage production and basic computer application.

Recently MIT received accreditation from the Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB) to offer basic trade courses of 360 hours spread over six months. These trade courses are offered to both boys and girls, especially to those who drop out from the regular education system.
