Ashok Kumar Chakma has been working for Moanoghar as Executive Director from June 2012 until now. He is a former student of Moanoghar (took admission in 1991). He did his Honours and Masters in Economics from Dhaka University. Later he did a second Masters in Development Practice (Advanced) focusing on Social Planning from the University of Queensland, Australia. Before joining Moanoghar he was involved in social research and community development for more than one decade. He worked in the position of Executive Director at Trinamul Unnayan Sangstha a local NGO in Khagrachari for more than five years. He also worked for AIPP, a regional platform of indigenous peoples in Asia, based in Chiang Mai in Thailand. His areas of works were on monitoring the compliances of Indigenous Safeguard Policies of the international financial institutions (IFIs). He had experience to work as individual consultant for various local NGOs and international development agencies such as UNDP-CHTDF in the areas of education and governance in the Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT). He received training in different subjects such as human resources management, financial management, project planning and management etc.

Shashanka Chakma joined Moanoghar as Publication and Communication Officer in 2014. He has BA (Hons.) and MA in History from Chittagong University in 1994. He is a former student of Moanoghar. He is responsible for publication and compilation or processing of information on the activities of Moanoghar.

Nanda Kishore Chakma has been working for Moanoghar since 2014. He did BSS (Hon’s) and MSS in Economics at the University of Chittagong. In his capacity as the Sponsorship Officer, Nanda looks after the Higher Education Loan Program (HELP) including the alumni – the Moanogharians.

Bishwa Moni Chakma joined Moanoghar as Coordinator of Learning Support Program in January 2017. He did his graduation in Humanities from the National University. He is a former student of Moanoghar. Before joining Moanoghar he worked for local and national NGOs. He worked as a teacher in Bame Atarakchara Junior High School in Longadu Upazila, Rangamati. At Moanoghar, he coordinates the activities of the Foundation Courses offered to the students in special care to learn Bengali, English, Mathematics and Sciences.

Hobby Chakma joined Moanoghar in March 2018 as Assistant Sponsorship Officer. She coordinates the sponsorship activities at Moanoghar. Hobby did her Masters in Social Science from the National University in 2012. Before joining Moanoghar, she worked at BRAC as Program Organizer in Khagrachari, and as Assistant Teacher in Natun Kuri Cantonment High School in Khagrachari.

Shanti Moy Chakma is a former student of Moanoghar. He joined Moanoghar as Accounts and Finance Officer in 2010. He has a Bachelor degree in Business Studies from National University. At present he is Logistics and Procurement Officer.

Subodhi Chakma joined Moanoghar as electrician in May 2014. He completed a trade course on basic electrical wiring at the Dhaka Technical Institute in 1990. Before joining Moanoghar, he worked for various private companies. He is a former student of Parbatya Chattal Boudha Anath Ashram, the old institution of Moanoghar in Dighinala, Khagrachari.

Anumoy Chakma, account assistant, joined Moanoghar in June 2009. He is responsible for writing daily the books of accounts, vouchers, requisitions and also transactions with the banks etc. He completed HSC in Business Studies under the Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB).

Anil Chakma has been working as Office Attendant for Moanoghar from September 2009 until now. He completed Secondary School Certificate (SSC) from Moanoghar Residential School in 2012.

Memory CHAKMA joined Moanoghar as Medical attendant in August 2001. Later she assumed the role of Caretaker of the Sales & Display Centre and the Guest House.

Subas CHAKMA, Cashier-cum-front desk officer, joined Moanoghar in 2014. He is responsible for keeping all records and books of bakery accounts. He maintains the day-to-day transactions, keeps the records of daily production and supplies of products including the stocks in the store. He initiates the procedures for procurement of goods and office supplies of the bakery. He also keeps contacts with the suppliers and potential buyers. Subas is a former student of Moanoghar.

Mr. Suprio CHAKMA is a former student of Moanoghar. He has been rendering service as Storekeeper for Moanoghar since 2022. He completed Higher Secondary level of education. Being inspired by the greater welfare work of Moanoghar, he came to work for it. He is responsible for overall management of the food gowdown and keeping records of food items in the store.
